I am looking to add a throttle lock of some sort to my 97' XX. From what I have read the throttle mesiter is available but for the cost it doesnt sound like it works all that great. I am more interested in either a Vista Cruise or NEP throttle lock. I think the NEP looks narrower and may fit the cramped handlebars best. I was wondering if anyone has installed either the NEP or Vista Cruise. What modifications needed to be made if any and how is the fitment and function of the product.

I have a throttle mesiter on my 97 Blackbird. Had it installed at Americade the first year I had the bike by Sport Touring. Worked great until I changed the grips. Pain in the butt to get it working right. If I had to do it again, I would probably go with the NEP.

He Birdies,

I bought a "throttle rocker" at +++ HEIN GERICKE - For bike & body +++

It is a big franchising company in Holland, Belgium and Germany.

You slip it on your gas-throttle. It is very secure and by performing pressure with the end of your hand you accelerate and you add pressure which clamps the throttlerocker even tighter. At long trips I can add speed with a stretched hand and give my hand a rest.

works perfect for me and it cost me 10 euro's
