No, but as I said that was indicated on a digi dash, the others with me, a blade and a bored out to 1200 XX said it was probably around 180. I know I am way out on my clocks, and loose some top end. I rekon 20% out. I also saw 202, "indicated" on the final straight of the Nurburgring last September. I know it is to do with the sprocket, as before I changed it, I never saw over 191 indicated.

Road trip to Fort Davis. Long straights, good air, fresh tuneup.

Had 5 of us on the Road trip. A 02 VFR 800, 98 VTR1000 (Super Hawk), 99 ZRX 1100, 2004(?) ST 1300, and my 2000 XX.

Time to stretch them out. Hwy 67, from Fort Stockton to Alpine. The only extras at that time, were a Zero Gravity DB windscreen, and an Ohlins shock.

Long story short, I saw 192 mph. AND still climbing. With Luggage. Ventura bike rack. Do the speedometer error reading of about 10%, and I figure that I was at about 173. It didn't have a LOT more, but it was still inching up.

155mph indicated on GPS in 6th gear @ 11k RPM (oops... a little past redline). 16T front sprocket, 49T rear sprocket... hello torque, bye bye top speed. It was geared that way when I got it and I never thought to go back to stock. Speedo (uncorrected) indicated 205mph+.

Since I have installed a speedohealer I have got my Bird up to 175mph with still some more left. From what I can tell I believe she will do 180 if given enough time and road.

Damn these things are fast!!!!

..As if the XX wasn't fast enough before!!

I'm going to keep her stock sprockets, but IF I were to change them, I'd probably go the other way - opting for lower rpm's when cruising the highway. These machines are just stupid fast

been to the north side of 175 indicated, but I am +1 on the front. The bike had plenty more, but started running out of road I was SURE was open. I wonder how much more I would get if I used the bottle at that speed?

I have hit 139.8 mph in the 1/4.Yes it's modified now, wasn't on the street.
139... Thats nice... almost breaking out of the 10's was that a high 9?

I have a 97 blackbird with a couple of mods and the best run i had at the quarter was a 10.97 at 127mph.

I have some youtube vids posted if you look up "1100xx" I am at work and youtube is blocked so when i get home i'll post the links. i think i'm the only video on youtube running a blackbird down the quarter.

Just wondering if you had any vids... i know i can do better than 10.9 if i launch better. It might be easier if i saw someone else do it.

ps. I would like to get my times down to 10.3 this season... and last season was my first time on the track... <<< Addictive!
