| I want to thank you forum members for your help. Today is a very special day for me. I am raising a glass of wine in celebration, if you have one raise it too. I have graduated from techoness level 1 to techoness level 2. The leak on the fuel tank is fixed it was the O ring. Thanks flipy351 and leftlaner , and everyone else for your input. Once I had the tank off, I decided to change my spark plugs and air filter. I especially want to thank Warchild for the very clear and excellent instructions on how to change the spark plugs on superblackbird.com, not just how to change them but how to get there as well. Not so easy but with patience I was able to do it. I was very apprehensive and excited at the same time, when I finally put fuel into the tank, wondering “did I f**k up or not”, and put the key into the ignition and lo and behold after some initial heartstopping hesitation it started. I appreciate the input of all the members of this forum and the cbr1100xx.org forum, I think this is a special community, full of humour, great advice, and good will, you make owning, riding, and maintaining the blackbird something special. Mnet. |
