Speculation, rumour and pure fabrication all describe the rumblings in the world Bird community regarding, of course, Honda's failure to deliver the worlds fastest production road bike as the Bird replacement.
An imaginative salesperson at a recent bike show stated that it would be a 1500 Turbo with a V5 sports bike as stable mates for 2009!
My cheque is creased and torn waiting for the big H to pull their finger out. I'm hearing on global sites frustrated former Birdmen going Kwaka or Busa Market opportunities lost, pissed off patrons and competitors rubbing their hands. Has Honda management capitulated to Saki Cell Burn? |

How do you expect me to feed my children?" |

This speculation is not as silly as it sounds.
Salesman told me to keep an eye out for something turbo charged from the Honda stables to do battle with the ZX14 and the 'Busa. This was last week when I picked up my new toy. Seems Honda has finnally had enough sh$t about having the 3rd fastest production bike in the world ...... Here's hoping

The next big thing from Honda will be automatic transmissions.

"Auto Transmissions ?" It seems to me the purpose of the big "H" is to make money - it does that quite well flogging Postie bikes and Auto Scooters. To those of us that love ultra - fast big bore machines, at this stage, Honda's message to us is "Go plate ya shyte" Wish I could afford a Duke RR, I'd return the sentiment.
If I did'nt puke at the Busa's looks I 'd walk away from H.

Had a peep at the new 'Busa at the Brisbane Motor Show and thought the styling is heading in the right direction. They have added a few 'angles' to the styling so the beast doesn't look as rounded.

'Pins Farina' the Italian coach builder, (spelling dubious throughout) done most of the fast Itallian cars including wind tunnel stuff in the later years.
The best example is the Porche which is still an ugly bitch explained and adored for its high speed stability. Which is true. The profound ugliness of the Bus however, has general universal aceptance as such. Fuggin Ugerly.
(except for the poor bastards that bought one).
Albeit the 2008 is an improvement.
Asthetics are important universal marketing tools but if those arrogant Japs can't deliver on a world beating 1100XX 'Upgrade' I'll mortgage the house, again, and go Busa |

While I've completely given up hope for Honda's motorcycle division, the new Aquatrax has a 1500cc turbocharged engine!

Heh Guys, lets get grounded here, Honda has missed out on a Rossi road replica. It needs some serious top management sackings to compete with the 'new' . The Jap bastards (Mgt. ie) have lost me. A serious ride with an MV Senna, 1098S and a KTM leaves me with going Italian armory. Sack the bastards at top management and revive the big "H"
3 Yamaha's on the front grid at Qatar - OK - Go Casey!
