I hate idiots that do that stupid stuff without thinking or caring whether they are putting your life on the line or health. Glad no major injuries.

not on here too much anymore, but I might stay on and visit from time to time. The bird is a great bike and will always be great, and she taught me a lot about riding and how much fun you can have. Unfortunately my wrist will never be good enough to allow me to ride the bird the way I would like and for the duration I would like. Hence the Beemer. It is surprisingly comfortable and at 175kg and 199hp, a lot of fun can be had in a short space of time :-) (race mode is a lot of fun around corners....)

i have been been left with about 50% movement in my right hand and it doesn't take too much to flare it up. I have managed to get it stable enough and strong enough to last a days work in the OR and commute to and from work three days a week. It might not sound much, but it is better than it was and better than the alternative. How is your shoulder?

    Re: Time to say goodbye

    Broken Shoulder one side, Cured,

Broken collar bone the other side, Cured enough, Hahaha That was having Extreme fun on the Omeo Highway, Front wheel stepped out in the sand across a very tite hairpin,
Foot peg was stuck on my boot, So I just had to lay there and wait till a few of the group rocked up and lifted the bike off my foot, Heavy Mongrel it is, hahahahaha
Riding home 500 Kays with a broken collar bone wasnt much fun, Still came over Falls Creek Tawonga Gap, Whitfield and EJ road on the the way home, That kept my mind off it,
Dont take your right hand off the bars, It takes two hands to put it back on the bars, hahaha, And no go button till I do it, It Can get hairy in second gear, and no go, hahahaha

3 Days is better than nothing these days, Your wrist was a pretty bad wound too, So your very lucky there,
Must catch up for a beer soon, And a decent Perve at your new wheels,
I get down to Yaringa Marina near Hastings quite often, Fixing my boat, In the car tho, Taking tools down, Etc,

    Cheers, Brian,

I always knew you were a BMW rider at heart, Paul.

I'm glad to see you're getting back on the horse, my friend, and thanks for not posting any photos of yourself. The bent-up Bird is bad enough.
