man I'd like ot know what kind of bottom end work that XX has had to take 35lbs of boost. Trick bike for sure. Looks like they got as much in the paint as they do the turbo. I'd like a trick bike like someday.

Here's my lawyers Busa (I know), but it's pushing 800hp on methanol now
1. Brock’s Performance Alien Head Exhaust System
2. Dynojet power commander IIIusb with Brock’s “Maxton” map
3. Dave O prepped Innovate aux box kit ( LM1 Basic + LMA-3)
4. Brock’s Performance “bare necessities” drag race kit
5. World Wide Bearings ceramic wheel bearing kit with low tension seals and aerospace lubricant.
6. Richie’s Tires/Michelin pilot power race 120/60 front 190/55 rear
(Stock tires are Bridgestone Battlax BT015 120/70 front and 190/50 rear)
7. Ohlins Hayabusa (99-07) top mount steering stabilizer kit
8. Vortex sprockets (stock 18-43 ratio) for GSX-R1000 rear wheel
9. Spiegler brake lines
10. Regina ZRP Series “Brock modified” chain
11. Chicken Hawk tire warmer
12. Tiger Racing “Brock modified” aluminum chain guard
13. Schnitz Racing (Brock Modified) billet triple tree (top clamp plate)
All else is stock except oil (Alisyn less than zero weight) and VP MR9 fuel.

Well, to offer some realism to this thread, don't believe the #'s when they are that outrageous.
I asked the XX owner for a dyno sheet, he never came up with one. 1/2" studs? Really? The XX has excellent head BOLTS, unlike the busa motor where the cylinders come off separately where studs actually make sense. Adding into that the amount of R&D and time I have spent on the XX motor with the multiple world record holding NLR owner, Kent Stotz, and Elton Fish, well, let's just say I don't buy it. Not one bit!
The current XX PROVEN dyno number is around 505 HP on Barry's old black blackbird that went 7.30's and is now own by a local near me. (Maurie) Kent's red blackbird is said to make a little more, but Kent hasn't produced a sheet. I suspect Kent is not BS'ing, however, as he picked up around 5 MPH after he said he went back for more HP and he has the resources and sponsors (Star Racing) to pull it off.
As for the 800 HP methanol claim, Seb @ NLR also holds the dyno record on the busa currently at around over 730 HP (it had a car tire slick on the back so it probably would have made more if the tire hadn't exploded) -- again, I don't buy it.
I follow and talk to the major players in this sport of making power on motorcycle engines -- not trying to be a dick, but advising that many many dyno results are exaggerated significantly these days because people really don't know better and the owners/BSers can get away with it.
Next time someone claims an HP # that seems unreal, ask for a sheet...
Oh, and my motor is built to handle as much as 42 PSI of boost, and I use stock head bolts and have never pushed out a head gasket. (That issue is usually caused by detonation due to a bad tuning job...)
I'll post up my results on version 3.0 of my bike in a few weeks after I go for another round of tuning at, yep, you guessed it, NLR.
That top bike sure has had a lot of work and money into it though! $17k would be a steal. I'm sure there is over $25k into it...
