...and I don't care . Today I took the restrictors out of my cans for the first time and the bike sounded just awesome. Loud but throaty too. First I rode around the neighborhood to annoy the neighbors. Then I took the Bird out on the main roads and wound it out a little (ok a lot) just so I could hear the pipes. My wife just watched me go by the house and shook her head. I had a huge shit eating grin on under my helmet .
I've only had this bike for a couple weeks but I love it more and more each time I ride it. |

Never growing up? How about not growing old?
I told my wife if I can't hold the XX up and twist the throttle, you might as well put me in the ground. |

I'm 44 and had to put a Yosh 4-2-1 on my 01 XX because it was way to quite ...........on the other hand I also have a brand new 07 GSXR 1000 sitting in my garage with 20 miles on it......you know , I'm starting to think that I must be aging backwards

I'm 42 and won't be completely satisfied with my XX until I can run 7 sec 1/4 miles on it.I had to live with it for over 4 years with stock pipes-almost drove me crazy.I only want to faster, but I've reached that age where I know I can get my speed demon out at the track and keep it in check(most of the time) on the street.

I'm nearing 57 and have no intentions of giving up my XX ride. I have been riding since the 5th grade you do the math never been without a motorcycle and have three right now 06 ultra classic with loud pipes, 98 XX with Muzzy pipes, and an 02XX with Micron pipes all loud. The 98 will be for sale when spring gets here for $4500 right now no one is looking but with gas prices at $3.00 it will look good to someone I will not give it away. KEEP THEM LOUD !!
