CBR1100XX 1:12 model

well I for one have never seen one of these before so I thought I would post.... I was flipping thru the latest Aerostich catalog and noticed they have a DIY Model of the XX for $34USD. Chances are it's been in the catalog for a while and I just never paid close attention

I'm not much of a model making guy, but that's kind of tempting. Here's the link.

$10 cheaper here: Tamiya 1/12 Honda CBR 1100XX Super Blackbird

And if you shop around, you can probably find it cheaper. I've seen it at Wal-Mart, and some local hobby shops.

yeah.. unless it's the Aero brand most of their stuff can be found cheaper! I figured it was many other places, just didn't feel like looking around

Have a look at the 3 model photos on this thread: New Blackbird.

Personally, I nearly went blind making it and there are times when it nearly got thrown against the wall! I think that's cured me of model building

I've got a copy of Tamiya's "With Me" racing version of the 1/12th scale XX. Wheels, pipe, paint mods included among other things. This boxing of the XX is currently out of production.
