I have only touched the limiter a couple of times and that was on the drag strip. I short shift on the street when I get on the freeway and still exceed the posted limit by twice over before I even hit freeway traffic and have to slow down.
My Bird does see 10,000 rpm on a semi regular basis but, the redline is not nessesary on the street.

...i suggest you to deal with your own rev limiter and leave others to deal with their own ...you have no right to offend anyone's expression....

....i'm gonna put it this way...i belong to a family with 30 years of motorsport experience in this country..and especially on bikes ..."so how should i know that?" you'll say...well now you do...and if that can't answer your question then science lifts her hands up about your case...get a life ,or should i say get a rev limiter...? (or did you missed that class also..?)...

I've redlined a couple of times. No real point, though. The bike scoots along pretty good without going past 11K. What I wouldn't give for more midrange.
