Fitting clear indicator lens

I have bought a set of clear front turn indicator lenses from Jaws to fit to my 2001 Bird and have one mirror housing apart but it seems that the orange lens is glued or siliconed to the black plastic housing that the holds it all together.
My question is - How do I get the orange lens out of the housing without breaking one or both parts?
Maybe I have to buy 2 new housing parts? Ouch.
Thanks in advance for any advice.

The mirror bolts are the 8mm hex heads. There is one installed outboard into the aft mirror assembly. The other is installed straight down into the mirror assembly arm. Don't remove the external screws with phillips/JIS head, those attach the mirror housing to it's arm.
With the mirror removed, 1/4 turn the bulb connector to remove, and the 2 phillips/JIS that retain the lens are installed forward. Be careful as they go into the housing itself, which can be brittle. -BIG DAN:thumb:
No glue was used on mine, once the forward mounted screws were out, it fell out.

From memory , you have 1 or 2 screws under the mirror housing , they need to be loosened or taken out
Pull back the rubber boot and have a look.

Undo the 2 screws located under the mirror(position tighteners) Then pull the rubber boot back a you will see a 8mm nut going through the mirror arm. Completely remove the nut and the mirror will just pull out. Behind the mirror remove the bulb(screw anti-clockwise) and pull out. You'll see 2 screws holding in the lense one each side. Remove them and the lense will just come out. Reverse process to put all back together. Remember to replace the bulb with a orange one if you've got clear lenses.. hope that helps

Thanks guys! Really appreciate the advice - but it turns out I had a "senior moment" -removed the original lens assembly with no problems and then thought I had to remove the orange lens (didn't realize that the replacement was a drop in item). After leaving it overnight and reading the good advice here, I had a good look at it and realised my mistake. Feel pretty stupid actually. A few minutes work and I now have 2 clear indicator lenses which I think look better than the orange. Only trouble is I had to leave the original clear bulbs in as the supplied orange bulbs do not fit, having mounting pins (?) that are not offset like the originals. Small matter and easily fixed.
Thanks again to all who gave advice.
Cheers, Mike

Appears they're still selling those to the states and Canada, not sure if they put a disclaimer on the site or not yet.
I recently went back to stock as I don't want an orange bulb in the clear lense and nobody has definitely showed me a plug and play silver bulb that shines orange and my led attempts were all fails too.

I'm in the middle of another "can't leave things alone" moment, I purchased a set of VLEDs V3 Triton DRL/flashers. VLEDS and clear lenses a couple of months ago and fitting them now that I have the bike apart (again), white DRL and flash orange when flasher used.
I'll get back to you shortly with a review and list of mods needed to make them work on the 'bird.

if cars, fourbies, vans et all can have them I can't see how they would be illegal, hoping to have it all reconstructed tomorrow so will post up a few photos when I get the chance, I have set them up on a trial run and I tell ya the buggers are bloody bright.
