hi guys my 98 bird has over the last few month has started to rattle .When cold the motor sound great but up to temp a rattle starts to apear in between 3000rpm/4500rpm you notice it if you give it a rev on the way down under 3000rpm good as gold an over 4500rm one garage said the cam chain good may be primary gears my be the cause. the bike has 60000ks on the clock not had cham chain replaced yet what are your thoughts thank guys for your time Jon.

After reading other posts on this type of thing, it sounds as if your cam chain tensioner may need replacing.
