BMW K1600GT Exclusive or a BMW GS1200...probably. Assuming I had that kind of scratch of course.

    28 min is too long!!

I know! I always wanted a bird and finally stumbled on the one I have last year and had the bread burning holes in my pockets.
And always wanted a TL 1000r. I think it is like using a sledge hammer to put in a finishing screw! I used to have an early V-Max and it was so much fun except it didn't fit my 202cm frame!

Torn between the 1700 VMax and the Ducati C.F. Diavel .

Mm mm...money no object and if I lived somewhere I could ride everyday? Motus really has my interest. I mean, riding from Alabama to the Salt Flats, doing 180+ mph there, then riding back to AL? That's almost Blackbird-esque. Didn't Honda do 6 continuous days of high speed testing in Utah back in the prototype stage? Yeah. Go Motus!

And at 202cm, a blackbird fits you? Have you made any mods to make it fit? I'm about 194cm (6'4") and I'm having a hard time being comfy on my bird...

Re: If there were no Birds... 2016

I agree that the Motus is appealing. The BB, with the suspension upgrades that many of us have installed, along with the many other upgrades most BB's now sport, would likely perform as well or better than the Motus. The aluminum engine of the Motus gives me some concern. As an owner of many Porsche 911's over three decades, I can tell you that there are many wrong ways to build an aluminum engine. BMW's chrome cylinder technique was a disaster. Porsche's iron sleeve method had its problems. I think a well maintained BB will pass 100,000 miles with zero major issues. One will spend some money on cct's, charging system upgrades, and something on suspension. This is a long way from $31,000 to $38,000 plus tax that one would pay for a Motus. I agree the Motus is really cool, but the BB is hand's down the performance buy of the new century.....Chris

Money is no issue.... I hate seeing my bike coming at me on the road , in a parking lot or at my favorite hangout. I love being different.

If there were no Birds... 2016

Only 100,000 KMS. My '02 has 200,000 Kms. With no major issues. Just consumables. Regrettably not many Kms over the last 1,1/2 years.
