Hi How many digits is the Km/miles odometer readout on the digital dashboard ?? - is it 5 like the old one that has a max of 99.999 or is it 999.999 ?? Is it harder to tamper with than the old one, can you reset it somehow ?? I'm asking because i'm thinking of buying a Bird, it's a 01 with 30.000 Km on the clock ....I know it's not much for a Bird, but I need to know as much as possible before I buy it. How about the RR, is the 01 model RR, the "good one" ?? Any advice is welcome ....I do browse this forum alot, and already picked up s bunch of info  Thanks John | ||

I don't know about the ability to tamper with it, but I found an '02 XX just this year with 12,500 miles (20,000 km) and I fully believe it b/c it was in absolute perfect condition. I just think the guy who had it never really rode it very much.

Yeah I belive that the 30.000 km on the odo. on "my" bike is true too, but maybe I'll go look on other BB's, and it would be nice to know if it has 20.000 or 120.000 km on the clock. It would be hard to argue against if the odo. is showing 120.000 and not just 20.000 .....thats why I would like to know how many digits the odo. is showing :-) |

Doooh ...stupid me !!! - I haven't noticed that ther ARE 6 digits on the odometer on the BB. I just asumed that it had 5 like my VFR, sorry |
