My mechanic rang this morning my baby should be home tomorrow as you all suspected the R/R was damaged, worked on bench test but when installed the connection from the regulator to wiring harness worked when pulled on way and not the other
For the stuff around he's giving me the r/r at cost which is about 185 australian and do me a deal on the labour.
not too sure about drilling my exhaust might have to grin and bear the quietness of the bird untill i can get some cash for slip-ons.
I am going to use the shim idea to raise the rear of my bike so she turns a bit quicker.
This site is excellent you guys do a great job plenty of info and its good to be able to discuss stuff with you, as they say two heads are better than one.
bye the way anyone knows of a cheap exhaust drop me a line open to anything at the moment as long as i get more hp and more noise ill be happy.
