Wouldn't it be neat if the chart colors for the model years matched the bike colors for that year, i.e. the 2000 chart bar should be titanium colored.

Yeah it's only you guys in North America that were restricted in colour choice, here in AUS for example the colours were -

My front fender is the only obvious indicator of year anymore. I am going to get paint on it this winter and it will resemble the original stock color.

Being Canadian, not many of them around here!

I started with a 97 (which was rear-ended and rode off) now I ride an 03 (purchased new).

'99, black (NH359M)... as I understand it, the only color available in the US at the time. I knew the was a change in the paint composition of the (black) '03 models, but I was surprised to learn that there are actually three versions of the black paint...

'02 - Never did like the Bird in black, so bought a nice silver one. My first choice would have been blue, followed by red. I think maybe someday I'll do a nice custom paint job on my bike.....

Mine is a 1996'er

Only the poll starts with 1997.


The First BB's were build in 1996 but got the title: Model 1997.

Don't know what to do now.

Maybe the administrator could help me out with this by adding it to the poll?
