Well i did all right for the frist time with the wheelie bar and for the first time ever racing a bike. As you can see not much traction but the compound they put down helped. 1st and 2nd gear just somkes the tire. Had the pressure about 28psi. The wife says i can get a flat slick now cause all it dose is smoke the tire. What power lots of fun and i also beat all th GSXR's that showed up. best time don't give me crap it will get better. i did get better all day.

Awesome! The title of Rossi's book is "What if you never tried..."
At least you're out there in the mix trying it! Keep us posted!

Are these times close to what u guys run. This is a 1/8th mile. Was hoping to be under 7 sec but for the first time and the frist day the track is open this year i think i did alright. There wasn't alot of rubber on the track with that pass. This was near the end of the day. Got to say it again WHAT FUN
And dose anyone now what i can put on the paint so the rubber dosn't stick.

Well, you are off to a start, at any rate.
Some comments,
You still need the clutch to manage traction with a wheelie bar. You can be much more aggressive about the launch but a spinning tire isn't gonna help you.
Your bar needs to be higher off the ground. You should be hanging the front wheel about 6" off the ground.
Please don't tell me you still have the rear shock in there.
A longer, lower bar will be a lot easier on the tire as well. I know that will involve some more fabrication but think more about using the passenger peg mounts as the TOP mount. I mentioned all that the last time. The bar angle you have chosen is causing your traction problem as it tends to unload the rear wheel.

Why do you have a wheelie bar on it? Is it stock? I pulled 7.0 on my wife's 600rr at stock ride height and wheelbase, is it just to keep you from going over? I see it was your first time at the track, do you plan to stretch and slam the bike? Modify the motor? If so I would raise the bar height a little and practice sliding the clutch and have the bar to help catch you if you were to aggressive on it. then take it off. but it just depends on what you are going to do with it. It is good to see some more Birds at the track.

well there is nothing great about the mods. Just the pipe. The hole point is not to flip over.Thats all that matters to me. Everyone can say take it off but. I would have to pay for the wrecked bike. Oh ya i did lower it one inch front and rear. plus i now the times will be better i haven't even riden the bike for two months yet. And track temp was cold this is Maine not Flordia.

Raise the bars up a little, practice sliding the clutch off the line. Get a little higher revs and a little more clutch each pass until your comfortable. Get where you can hang the front tire about 3 to 4 inches off the ground every time. Then take those bars off! weight transfer is a good thing.

I can pull a 1.7 but mostly 1.8's 60ft times with a stock suspension and no wheelie bars. That smoking rear tire is killing your times. Slip the clutch a little coming out of the hole. I will have to check my 1/8th mile times because I run 1/4 mile. Run the Shinko (firecracker tire) too for some serious sticky.
