I have never heard that before. Perfect!
I was at a motorcycle meeting the other day, told this guy "when you ride a low rider style bike you have limited your ability on the highway" holy, it was like waving a red flag in front of a bull. I then continued by saying "my bike is like driving a viper and you driving a volkeswagon beetle". As this guy stood there stunned I continued to say, they are more than just speed, they handle like nothing else, we live for the corners while you guys are struggling to stay on the road. Some members agreed with me, others were offended. Hm....offended eh? Oops, sorry. Agree or dis?

Yeah,
Just another reason why I haven't bought her that f4i yet.
Anita got her shoulder repaired last week. I hate to think how fast she will be with two good arms. Guess we will find out in May, won't we. |

Craig, I had the pleasure of meeting Vern (xrated) last night, and we had a nice dinner at the Macaroni Grill and talked motorcycles. Vern and his girlfriend, Peggy, have done quite a few track days, and Peggy even has her own f4i (From what Vern says, she is a very capable rider). So, I'm not sure my fragile ego can tolerate being trounced by both Anita and Peggy when we get together to ride in the future. I may become a loner

I politely suggested that my bike is far more comfortable than his, and that I'd be more than willing to show him. He got all "No way, those crotch rockets are all too uncomfortable, etc..." Right after I suggested that we do it for pinks.. A friend who knew me asked me about the route to Vancouver this year. While I was answering him the guy sorta dissapeared.
He's never said another word about it since. | The funny thing is, I believe over 80% of a bike has to consist of parts manufactured in America. Harley can't stamp that on their bikes because even though they're made in America, Most of the parts are from China and Japan. Alot of Honda products have "Made in the USA" stamped right on the bike because they're being manufactured here with parts from here. So who's riding rice now?

Normally not a big fan of wild graphics but your silver/green graphics on the black 'bird looks very tasteful indeed. Did you do the graphics yourself? Nicely done.

I reply with my standard line:
"Yeah, it's uncomfortable, but... not as uncomfortable as skin grafts."
Pretty much shuts them up right there. | This summer it was just under 100F here.
I was waiting for a traffic light when some other biker pulled up next to me wearing a t-shirt and shorts... (I always wear full leathers)
When he asked me about my choice of clothing I replied by asking he ever put his finger on the road while doing 100+ ... He said he pays good attention to the road and therefor didn't wear protection.... at that point I felt it was time to point out that his light turned green a while ago...
What REALLY baffles me is a guy on a bike in full leathers... and girlfriend on the back in summerdress.... WTF is up with that? |

I don't have to explain my choice of bike to anyone. If you have two wheels under you and are safe, then you are alright by me. | WITH YOU BRO
