I've had the Throttlemeister on several bikes, and finally got around to getting it for the new XX.
I was planning on having them powdercoated black so they would blend in better, but davesxx01 informed me that they are now available in black from the factory. It seems to be some type of rubberized coating, and should hold up much better than powdercoating would have anyway.
(For those that don't know, the red line in the groove is a decal that can be pulled out, which I have promptly done with all mine.)

Are these really as easy to use and install as the website claim?
I couldn't the price on the site, roughly what are they worth?

Pricing is here: Link |

Sandman,
Make sure you order the optionl "Heavy" bar ends to help reduce the bar vibrations a bit! IMHO

I've had both sizes, and didn't notice a big difference in vibration dampening (especially on the XX, since it's already smooth). I prefer the "regular" just because the "heavy" ones look out of proportion on the bike. |

Do you think that the polished one would be slippery to use?

I think I saw the Vista one's, I remember them to be crappy in comparison to these.
But..... DOES ANYONE IN AUS KNOW WHERE I CAN GET THEM??
Or maybe in Vancouver?

If you are going to compare the Throttlemeister to the Vista Cruise, don't !!
Vista Cruise = $25.00
Throttlemeister = $130.00
Sometimes the mighty dollar decides the bling. Vista Cruise work well just not as pretty but very functional.
