It sounds like that depends on your riding style, symptoms are a rattling sound from 3-4000rpm, on my Bird anyway.

Hey, Thanks... I have see a lot of stuff refering the CCT in the forums, but couldn't find anything in my service manual. I only have 24,000 mi. on it so hopefully it will be good for a bit.

I've only got 26,000 on my 02, & she rattles bad @ 3-4000rpm=55-75mph, & from what I understand, it's the CCT making that noise. Just keep a close ear out on the right side, just above the oil fill, inside the fairing.

Yes, will do. If riding style has an effect it might be sooner than later as I am willing to let it spin when riding aggressive

The wavy's don't interest me at this time but I'm curious who made the SS brake/clutch lines and is it a full 10 line kit, and of course what was the cost.

No, it's not the complete kit, rear not included, it's Galfer also. Go to 58cycle | Motorcycle Performance Parts & Accessories, it's where I got the lines.

I don't want to tax Conq's bandwidth from listing all my mods on my outgoing 2000 Ti XX. It's pretty brutal.
And now it is starting all over again with Ag1..... the addiction never stops... |

The 1st step to recovery is admission...
It makes one feel less guilty when spending $ on the sickness...
$1200 so far this year and the riding season hasn't started yet
And then there is tires, oil, filters, gas, etc. <poshonda>
And those damn XX sleepovers leading one astray...
And the worst of the worst, Dale's group buys leading one into the abyss...

I have a complete file of all the mods I've done so far, but in order to prevent hyperventilating I rarely look in there.
It's just money, right? I really should add it up someday.

Add ons only, not counting maintenance, even electrical replacements and cct's. $7,500. Tires, wheel and head bearings don't count. Only aftermarket and additional equipment and farkles count. Chains & sprockets don't count, that's maintenance.

you can do whatever you want to your Blackbird but what will make it worth money later on, is originality. Mods give you nothing back in monetary value, just personal comfort and satisfaction for a momentary period. This is good but originality is the most profitable.
