It's Titled in my name, registered in my name, and insured in my name/all current.....which means I had all intentions in riding this beauty and experiencing one of the greatest Honda motorcycles ever built.....but life has many twists and turns.....my Bike is for sale for $9000.00. Located near Harrisburg, Pa.

77 original miles
Totally Stock

Serviced and with new Battery. Has a few, very minor scuff or nick marks in paint, but it's still a brand new, crisp looking CBR1100XX.

Thought I'd list it here because I know the hardcore enthusiasts exist at this location, and are VERY out-spoken....so have at it ! OMG!! What a stunner. Are you serious , only 77 miles? What have you been riding? Good luck on the sale, although I have to agree with X1 that you may be a teeny bit high on the price, but I'm no expert and I'm sure there is some collector out there looking for this very rig.

Soon to be 7yr. old bike. 2010's will start trickling out come Aug. Still it's a NEW 7yr. old bike! Probably gonna need lots of stuff replaced though- tires,chain,sprockets,etc. 7.7mi. a year is kinda much!!!!!!!!!!

Expected the normal negatives.....it's cool......but fyi - it needs NOTHING.
There is no gummed up anything, but sprockets and chains ?? are you kidding me?

This Bike is "like new", no excuses, no shady stories.....

I think 9k is right on the money, I really do. Could have asked even more and waited for the "collector" or someone else who just has to have one. Yes, it's 6 yrs old, but come on.......it's still a "new" one.......

So many things can be said,......but the bottom line is.....it's a new BB ready to go, that needs nothing. And as you all know, it's the Bike Honda should have kept producing......THAT has to be worth something.......to someone.

What have I been riding ?? Nothing - because it's rained 30 frickin days in the last 35 around here !! At least seems like that.......crazy rainy weather this year, hence the no riding. But do have another Bike, Car, etc....that I mess with.

Giving someone here among the enthusiasts a shot at it, that's all. And I understand your opinions on pricing, but also know of another one that sold thru here, very similar to this one, for even more than 9k......

I downt be no gud at math! Not 7.7mi. a yr. It would be 11mi. a yr. Thats REALLY pushing it. Will probably need a complete rebuild

Hell, put it on a ship to England, I'll fly over, and I'll deliver it anywhere in Europe.

Pricing is always an issue........but I've seen some nice later model BB sell for solid 6's and almost 7k, with some miles and mods........

You can't compare this BB with any other recent BB sale. It's a chance to have a new one, simple as that.

The original owner bought it with dreams to "learn to ride".......he bought it in 2005, new - leftover......well, he never got around to learning to ride.

I've had a few ZX-11's, GSXR's, etc.........thought I'd try the BB because of it's great history, etc. Things change sometimes, ideas change. No big deal and no real reason to sell, other than to finally let someone ride this thing, the way it's supposed to be ridden.

Brand new battery in the past few months, all fluids were changed last Fall. I have the receipts, the original Bill of Sale, the Original Manual, the Service Manual on a Disc, and the tool kit is under the seat.......what more could you ask for ? A lower price ? :-) It's not easy putting a price tag on this one.......it's not "used". It's an '03. It's Black. It's FI.

My opinion - price is between seller and buyer - let the market decide - if it is still for sale in a month or two or even three then maybe the price is too high.
Took me 4 Months to sell a Hurricane 1000f - but if I couldn't make the trade up to the Blackbird was still a fine dependable bike and not worth taking less.
Remember there is a butt for every seat.

We have a 2006 for sale in Australia delivered April 2007 with 500k = 363mls for equivalent US$11700 (AU$14000)

2003 are pretty cheap with more miles but usually well cared for. Suppose it depends if you are going to store it or ride it.

Sorry for the delay.......was away for a few weeks......as of now, this BB creampuff is SOLD. Buyer and I are in the process of doing this, n that.

Was expecting more interest, earlier on. Didn't think 9k was out of line, at all, not for a "new" 2003 Blackbird.

I did PM the folks who asked the questions.
