Re: Looking for Corbin side bags and top case.

Hi, I have a pair of 360 side cases and a 460 top case with brake lite. I have ordered an l.e.d. lighting kit which when installed will allow the cases to all be brake lite, turn signals. and running lites. www.twistedthrottle.com It's not a cheap kit, but I'm hoping for much more visibility and therefore safety when touring. I highly recommend Givi and if you go that route get the liners as well. Act as soft luggage and you don't have to take the bags off the bike when touring and moteling. Good Luck

Re: Looking for Corbin side bags and top case.

Eddy, I just purchased a set of factory panniers, liners and mounts from David Silver Spares - HOME that worked out quite a bit cheaper than Givi's, and less than half (!) the price of the Corbins. The quality is top notch (as expected from Honda) and I have heard that they are actually manufactured by GIVI for Honda. I am not sure about a top box mount, but the upper stay looks to be quite capable of having some brackets added to accomodate something like a Givi 460.

The major consensus of the beetle bags is that they are not terribly spacious or convenient. There are a few members here who have them and like them, but there are many more who have had or currently have them and don't care much for them.

Re: Looking for Corbin side bags and top case.

frierstan, what color are the bags and what are you looking to get for them? I am interested in trying a set for myself. Sorry to hear about the loss of the job and the bike. Now the woman, on the other hand....
Thanks
