Wanted - Bird Cover

That's it, I am done buying $20 Wal-Mart motorcycle covers! They are somewhat worth it but don't last more than a couple seasons - they start to get thin, tear, etc.

So if someone has a good one they don't use anymore let me know...I want it to cover the whole bike - I use it daily in the parking lot at work.

Thanks...Bob Z.

Thanks much! So, what size you think is best for the Bird, XL? I want it to go all the way to the ground.

I have a nelson rigg cover, its waterproof and has lasted me three years and is still in good shape. I think it is a XL I paid about $70 for it, I'll double check the size and post back up...

Theses are strong and durable. Mine has a whole on either side that I used to put a bicycle type lock through. The only problem with these tougher matrerial types, they rub against the tail piece when covering the bike causing the paint to wear off. Have a soft cloth to cover the tail piece before puting the cover over. Needless to say I have since replaced may tail piece, and no longer ride the bike to work.... for other reasons

Yes, its a XL, it does go all the way to the ground. There is a grommet at the bottom center on each side and there is enough slack to pull it together and put a padlock on it...

Re: Wanted - Bird Cover

I've had my Dowco for 8 years and it's perfect still. I carry it when I travel, out of sight, out of mind, so to speak. Well worth the investment.

Re: Wanted - Bird Cover

I've an "Oxford Rainex" that came with the bike.

Covers it to the ground, heavyweight material outer skin with softer material liner, loops at both ends for the locks and a plastic clasp in the middle to stop the sides from flapping.

Best quality cover I've seen, when it wears out, it will be replaced "like for like"!!
