I am forced to sell my pride and joy ... I have a 2002 XX that has 10,070 miles on it. I have too many toys and this is the one that the wife "recommends" goes first... It is in 95% new cosmetic condition and I Have spent considerable time keeping this thing immaculate in condition and maintenance. She runs beautiful and like a swiss watch... I am a perfectionist and it shows in all my stuff ...

You can buy it for $4900 CASH FIRM with the new in box JT sprockets and RK 530 gold chain, and X-11 CCT none of which I have installed ... That alone cost me over $300 ...

Two small scratches on the tank about 1.5" long each ...

New windshield, double bubble, new stock size qualifiers 1,000 miles ago ... Honda dealership just did Fork Seals ...

I hate to see it go ... but you can give me a PM if you want to set something up ... I will have some excellent pics very soon ...

Guys, I have to say, if you are looking for a late model EFI XX for a steal in this condition, you can't go wrong ...

I don't want to sell it, but the wife keeps on about all the stuff in the garage and the on and on about how much money we spend on toys ... she's paranoid about the economy these days ...

Thanks guys !!! --- I am in no hurry ... Maybe the longer it takes the wife will forget and I can keep it lol ... No worries, the first person to see it and hear it (and ride it if they have cash in hand) will buy it ... I am not worried about it ... I have buddies with Busas and older ZX's and I let them ride it and they ask me why the hell Honda quit shipping them here in 03 !!!

I say, "well, people buy things for many reasons and they didn't buy the bird because as soon as it started catching on, the busa came" and stole the show ... because it was faster ... well, I say, people didn't buy the bird because of the same twisted americanized reasons most people think a 10 megapixel camera takes better pictures than a 7 megapixel ... bigger and faster is not always better overall ... just ask a bird owner who has ridden them all ...

Well.......you came to the RIGHT place........here you go guys, a FI BB with decent miles, fussy owner and the price is........well, under-priced. You won't get any bashing with that price.

I still like to find things with lower mileage, and no mods, but just me.

I'm sure you'll sell this Bike in a short time at that price. Too bad you have to let it go. I also don't ever understand the "wife says must go" thing. Nothing personal at all, your business. At least it was a "recommendation" in your case.

I bought the bike stock and put less than 2,000 miles on it ... It has slip-ons and a PC3 ... These 2 things actually help it run cooler and breathe ... If it's tuned correctly ... I would rather buy this than one corked-up for 10K and running hot the whole time ... But that's just me ... The mods have about 1,000 miles on them ...

Mileage has not changed and it radiates less heat and runs cooler at cruise ... works well on mine

Yep, bike sounds pretty good. Good year, tasteful mods, great price. Silver is the problem, IF you are set on Black. I like the Black or Titanium the best on the Blackbird. Just hard for me to own any vehicle, if I don't like the color. Crazy how some cars or Bikes look good in a color, but not in others. Then you see that color you think you don't like, on another car or Bike, and you like it. Fascinates me.

On the wife thing.....just doesn't seem that necessary to mention it and a poor excuse. (Not in this example of Dez) but sometimes, I see that written and think it's a coverup of the real reason to sell and it always sounds "weak" to me, blaming it on the wife. Just silly really......I mean, you are actually taking orders and following through ?? sheeeeeeeesh !! lol

Hang in there. I would say you have it set at an excellent price.

I bought my black '99 XX last Oct. with 4,200 miles for $4950 and almost felt guilty like I had ripped the guy off.

I like silver better, and I like the dash of the newer bikes better as well. I would have been all over yours if I had seen it first.

Maybe you'll luck out and end up not having to sell at all.
