I have just had 12 sets of Aluminum PAIR block off plates made. If you want a set let me know.
Price will be 25$ a set plus shipping. My buddy has a few listed on Ebay, but you can deal with me direct and save a little $$ (pay pal)

The plates come with full instructions, and pics.

And....

If you have any problems you can phone Warchild at home, any time, day or night, for on line support......holidays too.......

Just kidding.... if you have trouble, I'll give you support through PM's. Or if you really have a brain fart we'll talk on the phone. (your dime)

Quicky install goes like this.

Pull tank
Pull air box
Remove PAIR equipment
unplug 2 wire harness near left frame and seal (tape, silicon, your choice)
Install blockoff plates (ooohhhh are they nice)
Replace spark plugs
Clean top of engine
Replace airbox
Replace air filter
Install tank
Ride....
** steps 6 and 9 are only suggestions***
Total time to do everything should be no more than 2 1/2 - 3 hrs tops

Lou

Well my little sore assed friend, let me explain.

If you were to remove your gas tank and look down at the top of your motor, you would see a bunch of plumbing hooked to 2 covers on the top of your engine, which are in turn, hooked to an electricly operated air valve.

This junk sits right above/near your spark plugs.

What does it do? short answer...it is emmisions crap.

Do you need it ? No.

Next question, what are PAIR valve block off plates. Answer, they are plates that block off your PAIR valves....duh........!!!

Question ...."So Lou, why do we pull this junk off the top of our motors anyways, are there any HP gains? "

Answer. Yes, by doing this simple mod, you will gain an easy 10 HP**. But the real gain in doing this simple mod, is the way it will clean up the top of your engine. Getting to the spark plugs and tappit area of your engine is a lot easier as well. It's just a matter of getting extra junk off of your engine. I have done this mod to 3 Birds and feel that it is well worth the effort.

Hope this clears things up for you Russ.

** just kidding, there are NO horse power gains from doing this mod .....maybe 1/16 of a HP gain, but that would be more to the fact of shedding the extra weight. However, your bike is RED, so this mod works 10 time better on your color than the other stupid stupid colors.**

Umm....yeah....doohicky's for me too! LMAO. But only if there good for a 25 HP gain, I dont be havin' no time for no stinkin' 10HP mod! The best part is there good for a 50lb weight reduction AND free up like 300W of electricity! I think there are good for a 50% increase in mileage also, but this is a matter of conjecture. Some they put your spouse in the mood too!

I have a set I bought off ebay and there is a lil notch in them and no matter how I install them air blows out of that notch. Is this supposed to happen?

NO...on a proper set of plates there is NO notch. The block off plate should be the exact shape of the bottom of your PAIR cover (the one you removed so you could install the new plate)

Whats the item# , I would like to see what they look like.
