Around 18,500 miles. May vary as I do ride it occasionally. ABS, ESA, Saddle Bags, sw-motec top box mount, BMW Center Stand, Rick Mayers touring saddle, BMW tank bag, fused electrical connections and RAM mounts for GPS and radar detector. Actual units not included. Titanium REMUS exhaust. All OEM parts included. All service performed at specified intervals, including the major 18,000 mile service last winter (about 700 miles ago). Paperwork and stamped book avaliable to prove it. I was planning on keeping it but as of lately I have realized that I have too many toys and not enough time to ride them. New air filters and upgraded airbox. ALL new fluids including rear differential, brake, clutch, oil, antifreeze and so on. Runs VERY well and all factory upgrades done by dealer. Factory warranty will expire at 36,000 miles or the end of August 2008. Title in hand. Asking $11,750.00 If seriously interested email me and I can send pics and we can exchange phone numbers.

Pacman:
I just sold an almost identical version of your bike (mine was an '06) for $13.5K.
Of all the bikes I've owned (20 in all), the K12S was the best so far!!!
Good luck with your sale - that's a great price! |

If it was the best so far, then why did you sell it?

I ended up with the Blackbird - which is a very sweet compromise (it's not the technological measure of the K12S; but, at a fraction of the price of the Beemer, the XX comes pretty damn close (and has a better shifting transmission).

ZenRider I'm confused. Priorities verses $$$$.
What is that and how does it apply to motorcycles? Having riden one (K12s) I would take the BB over the K12s. More thrill factor when you twist the throttle. The BMW was nice though. Might depend on what you were going to do with it and the type of riding.
Pacman good luck with the sale.

Did you see the U-Tube on Hilter and his VFR? I think it's a fine bike but it's difficult to own two sports tourer especially if you own a Bird. Good luck.

When will manufacturers give up building sports bikes with shaft drives ?
It costs you about 20 ponies !!!
Good luck with the sale BTW

What is that and how does it apply to motorcycles? | Strek: I admit, that was a pretty vague statement (it sounded good in my, head at the time, thou ) - selling the K12S was a financial decision (liquidating debt meant getting a better interest rate on a new home - hence "priorities v. $$$$).
I had a few small beefs with the K12S; but overall, it's a great bike - much better brakes than the Bird!!!, plus "on-the-fly suspension adjustment.
Now, all I need to do is get the ergos right on the Bird, then, I'm pretty sure it will be a keeper |

Cool and I completely understand your decision. Now I understand how priorities v. $$$ comes into play with motorcycles. I would have done the same. The best thing is that you got the house and still have a bike. I liked the BMW as well myself. Whoever buys Pacmans bike will be happy I'm sure.

SOLD for asking price !!
About priorities.... If your Mom and Dad didn't teach you about that (leading by example) when you were growing up.... It's probably a bit too late now....
