Hello All! New to forum, looking forward to making my grand entrance w/pics in about 3-4 weeks time. In the process of buying an '01 Blackbird w/3000 miles on her. She needs a little work, as she's been sitting in a garage for the last 5 years or so. Tank is completely rusted out so I opted to just get a new one. Owner hit/got hit by something and upper cowl has large chunk missing (no side fairing damage).Other than that, she seems fine. Upgrading from ZZR 600 that was/is my first bike. I cracked the nose cone on my '01 bird earlier this winter. I looked around online and I found this to be the lowest price. And it comes painted. I'm going to try to use plastex on my nose come spring time. If I can't get it 100%, I'll replace it. Thankxx Mike, but I was finally able to get used one from someone off the site for basically half. I have babbittsonline saved in my favorites just in case I can't find a part elsewhere. Try a search for a motorcycle salvage yard, they may email you back eventually w/one. vicwreck@iinet.net.au is one in Austrailia, but I'm sure you can find one here. As a matter of fact there's a place in NH that I got my tank from...well, they didn't have it when I asked so  . Who knows how much overseas shipping would be, but hey check anyways, ya never know.--and I'm lovin it already, I just gotta get on it!!
