I have an OEM set of 2002 VFR Vtec Bars from an Interceptor I recently sold that had HELIs on it. On an XX, they move the riding position up and back to the same point as HELIs but look much better and boast Honda OEM quality. They are in excellent shape and come with the clamp bolts but do not come with the bar end weights. I would like $140 for the pair (half the price of HELIs) and can ship just about anywhere in the US for $10 ground or I can expedite to meet your needs. Payments can be made through PayPal or money orders.

I want them. I'll buy them if you can ship them to Montreal, at a decent shipping cost. Let me know.
Charles.

Charlesfleur - I just sent the Corbin seat from this Interceptor to Calgary for $38 via US Post Priority so $20 should be enough to ship via USPS Priority or UPS Ground. If you pass on these, I will be happy to sell them to Exskibum. Let me know and I ship these out as soon as Monday if we go through PayPal or next week as soon as I get the money order.

Happy Holidays!

Well -- so would I, but I believe the proper etiquette is to let the guy that first expressed interest have a chance to check in and buy them. You know -- kinda NOT like a bunch of rabid women elbowing one another out of the way at the bargain table right before Christmas.

Your post was 8 hrs after his last.
If it takes that long to do the deal for only $140 then it probably ain't happening

I absolutely agree with exskibum but I am a businessman as well so with that in mind, if I do not get a commitment from charlesfleur by tomorrow morning (9am CST), exskibum gets the next opportunity for 24 hours then 6gun.

I appreciate everyone's enthusiasm and whoever gets these will be very happy with them.

What are you expecting exskibum to do within the 24 hour period?
If he simply commits (I believe he already has behind charlesfleur) is that suffice, or does he need to send a carrier pidgeon with payment immediately?

As for 6 gun, your post was 9 hours after exskibum so I think you need to pull your head in and wait in line. I don't think that attitude is in the spirit of the board and certainly doesn't meet common courtesy standards. Please don't do that kind of thing unless you want to be suspended/banned from the board.

My expectation of commitment is simply confirming how and when payment will be made. I have specified money order or PayPal to simplify and expedite the process.

Cheers

This was clear to me, and I thought your approach was that of a stand up seller.

I figured if charlesfleur made the deal by the time you set, you'd post that. I'll check the board tomorrow morning, and if that isn't there (and you haven't PM'ed me), I'll send you a PM asking for your PayPal info and confirming a total of $150 for the bars and shipping to California. Assuming you responded quickly, I'd expect that by noon my time (PST), you'd have the money in your PayPal account (I have an account that doesn't add a service charge on your end -- seems like simple courtesy to me). Kinda the usual way I've bought and sold here and on other boards.

Have a good Saturday.

Rich

Tweet if you want to ban me from the board that if your choice.
If you all get this up tight over a simple post that stated I was ready to send the money in no way meant I was expecting OR wanting to run ahead of anyone. I simple stated a simple fact. Nothing more or less.
The seller is the only one that can exercise courtesy in a case like this, never the buyer. The seller decides who he does business with.
Again if you think I was running to the front of the line maybe I should have put more touchy feely wording in my post, but I simple stated what I was willing to do with the limited time I had at the moment.
Everyone should settle down and think before jumping to conclusions.

And if your threat is laughable.
