Peg lowering brackets

As seen here:

Footpeg Lowering Brackets by davesxx01

And:
PegLoweringBlocks.jpg

They fit 98.5 and newer 'Birds.
97-98.5 require slight modifacation.

Excellent install guide here thanks to KiwiBird!:
http://www.flyingferrets.eclipse.co....20Footpegs.pdf

Install note: Some people have stated that the OE pin dosen't fit the bracket when installing on the bike. If the OE pin fits the bracket before installation on the bike it will fit on the bike, you just have to wiggle the bracket up while pushing the pin in.
It's a tight fit!

They will be shipped by USPS First class mail

Enjoy!

UPDATE! These can be now ordered from cyclefarkle.com

Shipping overseas has been about $4-6 more so say and even $65 USD for overseas shipping.

Click on the link in my first post, that is Warchilds write-up on these.
And yes, he will be using them on his record setting attempt!

Re: Peg lowering brackets

Dave, sorry to be a pest but could you give me a rough idea when these will ship? My existing Buel pegs will be moving on to a new owner who is chasing me to get hold of them etc etc . If they are not far away I will let him have them as I will be travelling for the next week or two and will not be riding .

Thanks mate

Re: Peg lowering brackets

Has anyone thought of making some for the pillon pegs? Nearly every B Bird owner that I know over here that regularly carries a pillon comments that the pillion pegs are too high. I myself would buy 3 sets

Re: Peg lowering brackets

It would be harder to do for the pillion because they double as the exhaust hangers. It would take something that took them out and down beside the exhaust cans I guess, and would need something to protect their ankles from the heat.

Re: Peg lowering brackets

Dave

I'm no longer in any rush for the peg kit, but do you yet have an indication when they might ship?

I'm just concerned that everyone else has had their PM and I'm left on my Jack Jones!

Thanks in advance
