Everyone please hold off on sending payments to me until further notice!

Problem: I order these in batches of 30 or so from the machine shop and the last batch I ordered seems to have been lost by UPS

Worst thing is is the package wasn't insured for full value
I don't want to sit on anybodys money unless I have them ready to ship!

Pray that UPS finds my box!!

Edit: 3-3-08 I'm still receiving money from folks,,,, Please people, I am still working with UPS to find my package. Until then, don't send me any money!

Any update on the ZX 14 peg lowering brackets you were working on. If they are anything like the Bird set I have a definite interest in getting a set when you make them available for sale.

They will be out shortly, same basic design as the 'Bird, just milled to fit the 14!

Fitment issues!

Just got off the phone with Taetor, if you have a very early '97 bike with flat vs curved up at the end rubber step, these wont fit!
This is the first problem I've seen in over 300 sold.
If your foot pad looks like #31, your fine! If its like #9, it wont work.

visual aid on the problem with the peg brackets on my '97 (see pic). The peg basically doesn't slide on to the bracket blade far enough for the holes to line up.

A little grinding, a little filing, and a little loving.......... um yeah. Fits good now, just needed a little customizing for the beginning of the bird generation.

By the way yes the pic is for the CBR XX. It is just that the first '97s had a different peg than the rest.

hedgehog... so yours had the same issue as mine?

I'm still contemplating making them work, I'm just hesitant to risk screwing up a $55 item. Dave seems like a super nice guy but I doubt he'd let me return a set of brackets that I dorked up . I'll bounce the idea around another day or two before sending them back.
