| 4 Sale: Ventura Luggage System *SOLD*
I'm considering going to hard luggage system on my '97 after years of using the Ventura Luggage, mainly just because I'd like some lockable/waterproof storage. However, I'm kinda poor right now so I just wanted to post here to see if there'd be any interest in purchasing my Ventura system so I can have some cash towards the hard luggage. I have pretty much everything they have to offer including the following: -L brackets (mounting hardware) -sport rack -pack rack -grab bar handle (for when not using bags) -Spada bag (45 liter) -Delta bag (35 liter) -Sport bag (10 liter) -rain cover for the Delta -rain cover for Delta and Spada together -1 set of backpack shoulder straps I added up the retail prices on those items and it came to about $650. So I was thinking of selling for maybe $425 (or make an offer if you think that is unreasonable). Here's a link to the distributor's site. Soft Motorcycle Touring Luggage, Soft Motorcycle Touring Luggage if you want to know more. Again mine is '97 so you may want to check with them about your year XX application, but I would assume they're all the same hardware. Everything is in good shape, minor scratches on the racks from normal use. The bags are in perfect physical condition, just some sun fading on the sport bag and the Spada bag. I can take some pictures if there's any interest. I realize this is kind of a weird thing to post, but I'm not 100% convinced I'm selling the luggage yet I just want to see if there's even anyone interested so I know if this is even going to work out . Plus I'm semi-hesitant to get rid of it because it's been an outstanding setup for me!

Nice write up and link. If it works for you, why not just hang on to it? (I would consider but I already have saddlebags, tail and tank so would be unable to justify the upgrade unless I plan to tour more. Based on my recent wrist issue-I'm going to need to monitor closely.) |

mainly the lockable/waterproof thing is my attraction to the hard luggage. But I won't be sad to keep what I have if I can't scrape together the money, it really is a very practical and easy way to carry gear. Judging by the forum response so far, I'll likely not be selling it here, lol.
