birdie,birdie,birdie

Went today for a ride in the twisties of the Sydney National park where 7 Super Blackbirds were reunited, awesome day, the roads were a bit damp in the morning but dried out in the afternoon to allow us to take some daredevil cornerings it was the first time that i saw that many birds gathered at the same place...wicked

Great pic. In the 6 years I've had my Bird I've seen two others in all. Two. One in Santa Cruz, California at an intersection, and the other in passing locally.

i would say before trying that, make sure your pillion is comfortable with this, because i think they will be at their limit doing that before your bird is. i brake from 130 to practically dead stops on the highway here in canada to turn off and i have yet to bottom out on the breaks if that makes sense.

Re: birdie,birdie,birdie

That could have a bit to do with tyres you are using. When I had the Dunlop D205's on the bird, heavy braking from 200+ would have the front end weaving all over the place. Fitted some Roadsmarts and the weaving has gone away.

Hi Guys, Great pics and looks like you had a awesome day. I wouldn't mind catching up with you guys sometime in the future for a day out. I think that Karl's BlueBird belonged to a mate of mine that i've ridden with since we were kids, I'm 99% sure it's it, the only thing is that when he sold it, he had removed all the stickers and Karl's has stickers on it. At the time it was a bargain buy with 23k on it, well maintained and came with the Screen, Power Commander, Bagster Bag and Cover, Corbin Seat, Nonfandango Top Box, Panniers and Rack, Laser Carbon Look Pipes and all the original bits as well, it also had been tuned by Dyno Dave of Sydney Motorcycle Dyno at Kennington. It's a lovely well sorted bike and i've had many fantastic trips away with it, it's been to Phillip Island over the High Country, up to Grafton doing the Putty, Bucketts, Thunderbolts, the Oxley and the Gwyder, we did quick midweek runs up to Wollomi Pub for lunch and a beer, great rides and it put a smile on my face just to see it again and to see that someone cares for it the way Karl does.

Well roll east to Austin in a couple weeks and get with a few more of us, or starting on the 26th for a few days head to Montrose, CO for the west coast Blackbird convention.

But yeah, I know what you mean...I know there are five within 50 miles of me, but I have yet to see any of them.
