I have done this annual ride for many years in the Hudson Valley, NY area. It's for a great cause. Registration for the ride is at Central Valley Elementary School from 8:00 - 9:45AM and the police-escorted ride begins at 10:00AM. The ride is about 60 miles long and meanders through Harriman State Park and West Point. It finishes up back at the school for a light lunch and a ceremony. Yes, I will arrive at the school at approximately 9:00am. When bikes arrive at the staging area they are funnelled into different lanes. I can pull over to the side right before the staging area and wait for you, or vice versa. The way I get there is Tappan Zee bridge to Thruway to Palisades Parkway North to Route 6 north and get off the exit for Route 32. The school is 1/4 mile on left. You can't miss it.
