Who's all going to Myrtle Beach?

Any advice from the veterans? Where ta go, what to avoid?
How bout a meet & greet?
I'm planning to leave late Thurs nite. Plan to carry her on back of a pick up. Ten or more hours on the bum knee WILL NOT work yet. Hell, I don't know if two hours will! Plus I'm bringin the family. I have kin folk about 30 miles away, so that's where I'll pitch my tent. Hope to see ya there!

I was there also. I rode down with my boy and his victory. I was the guy with the Dreads and bandana. My left knee is hurting bad from the trip down but I had a good time. I saw quite a few Blackbirds and a few lovely ladies. I met a real nice young lady from the DC area and we hit it off from the start of the intro. Next time we all need to hook up or start a crew/club or something.

is your avatar your bike ... if so, i missed seeing your bike.
on of my boys did tell me they saw a b.b. with chuckie on it (i didn't see it)
think I saw maybe 10 B.B. down there
a few were done up, but most were mainly stock

That photo was from Black Bike Week 07. I went with a spiderman 3 theme and had it done on an adhesive wrap for the bike. It took 23 hours to apply the wrap and cut and post on the bird. It got a lot of looks. I was going to go with Iron Man this year, but lost touch with the guy who did my spidey wrap lalst year. This year I went with stock Black.

Good meetin ya man! Gotta definately plan out for next year! Now that I have the lay of the land, I'll have my isht in order for next year. Didn't get to hit all the venues, but now I know.

Dreads and bandana does seem familiar...I didn't ride down, but put on Dave's peg lowering kit before I left, and man what a difference!!! It didn't even dawn on me til I stopped riding each day, but that inch and whatever makes a difference! I saw the opposite of you. Only a few birds and quite a few lovely ladies!! We'll definately have to hook up next year and plan early! A flock of Birds flyin down 17 would be hot!! I plan on spending the off season getting my mods right to get the bling factor up to speed.
