This was my 1st real day riding my Bird and I have to say that 100+ miles I just did was the best ride I ever had on any bike I have ever owned.
The Rock Store was crowded and hot, no images of that place today.
Mulholland Hwy was more fun than a well, you know how much fun it was.

The overlook at Mulholland was empty for the most part and a squid was on the side of the road on my way up the hill picking his GSXR up from a low side & then laughing about it when he got to the top of the hill with his little woman all proud of the go down. It takes all kinds

So I rode Mulholland Hwy to Stunt Rd which is always a fun road and arrived at the top of Stunt to find a bunch of Italian sports cars and a Porshe Carrera blocking my view for a good picture but, I managed to take one anyways.

I rode the long way around to Topanga Canyon & down to the PCH for a quick ride back up to Los Flores and then up to Stunt Rd again to meet a guy named Lauren on a 97 Blackbird, nice guy.
So I only saw one other Bird today but, had the ride of my life on the most powerful motorcycle I have ever ridden, my 01 Blackbird.

Mulholland is one of the places I want to go when I rent a C14 from a place here in LA. I am going to post something shortly about my trip out here.

The view is better after the winds blow away the smog but, that sure is some pretty country up there 26 miles from my door.

I rode some of those canyon roads back in 02 when I lived in LA. I was riding my FJ 1200 back then. That is some good riding!

That sounds great. Looks like you have some excellent places to ride. Around here the best we can do is get a view of the Chicago Skyline within a 26 mile ride. No hills. Pretty flat around these parts. The folks from Wisconsin refer to Illinois folks as flatlanders. Of course the flat stuff isn't so bad for bicycle riding though.
