As many of you know the evil KTM SMR shattered my arm just prior to what would have been an epic ride over to see the IOM TT, Ireland, Scotland and England in 07. In 06 I did the OK to AK trip and my plans are coming together for Big Ass Ride 08......

Twisties through MO to Ownesboro, KY where we hope to get a Hayden sighting. Then up to Indy for the MotoGP (and the Indy Mile Flat Track)
On to Columbus, OH and the Motorcycle Hall Of Fame, Then further east to the into the Smokies to Charlotsville, VA where my wife has an office....awesome roads are everywhere here. Then onto Virginia Beach, VA where I have a training opportunity for my company. Then back via the entire Blue Ridge Parkway, Deals Gap & Cherehola again (the wife's never done it) and Beal Street in Memphis, TN, then accross northern AR back home. About 4000 miles and 3+ weeks and sure I have to work a couple days in there but thats OK............why??!?!?!?! It would be close to $2000 to fly me out, renting a car would be even more but I get paid close to $1100 to take my own vehicle!!!!!!!! hehehehehehehehehehehe It just dont even feel right getting paid to ride my bike!

If any of you are located in on or around this route and want to meet up I'd love to buy ya a cold one and shoot the bull. PM me and let me know.

What dates? I know the date of the Moto GP. That looks about as close as you are getting to the windy city.

Sounds like fun, what route are you taking thru MO? You may already know your way around fine but I've found some really cool roads in that area if you want any input... let me know.

Sounds like a fun ride, and it's a business trip too. Does that make it tax deductible?

The wife and I will be at the MotoGP. When it's closer, we'll have to make arrangements for an XX meet up.
