Went to the AMA races at Barbers in Birmingham Al. today and at the noon break I got to take my 1997 black Blackbird around the track for 3 laps, what a rush, the Bird accelerates like a banshee ( however fast that is). We had a blast, me on the bird, my son on the Superhawk, and my wife on her VTX1800C. I hit 120 a couple of times and we were in 2nd 3rd and 4th gear most of the time. Just thought I'd share some of our excitement from today.   Later Ben | ||

Went back to Barbers Sunday and saw 6 Blackbirds, all black, never saw a rider with so didn't get to talk to them. Another great day in Alabama for the races. Later Ben |
