Has Anyone Ever Heard Of The CBR?

I know what you all are thinking, but I am not talking about our bikes. I am talking about the Cannonball Bike Run. I guess it's been going on for a several years now. I know I am thinking about doing this when it comes back to the States. This year they are in Africa.

Yeah I remember reading an article in one of the Sports bike Mags, then I got on their website. Good info, and something to plan to do in the near future. At least I think so.

An awesome race. I read a story about it in an issue of Cycle World last year. The author was a participant and he described what it was like to race in the CBR. Totally sick!!!! He concluded by saying that there was talk of trying to organize a CBR in the USA. Personally I don't think you would ever see that race here. The police would undoubtedly be tipped off and be ready to hassle anyone participating.

Let's see it started in Englend, and was in Europe last year. Africa this year, and the people are talking about bringing it here to the USA. There are all kinds of car events like that here, so it is only natural that there be a bike event. i'm going to keep in contact with the people, and as soon as they have one here I'm in.
