dunedain... have you bought tickets yet? We haven't bought any yet and can't decide if we want to get general admission or if we should get actual seats. We should definitely meet up. I'm planning on being there for all three days, but we've got plenty of time to plan. Anyone else who is going should definitely post up on here and we should have a gathering.

I assume you're talking about riding up there. If so, put me down as a maybe for now.

If we can get tickets for the race, I can get the time off. I've done a few long distance days, so this could be fun.

Sounds like a hoot
Don't think I can get the 'Bird into the overhead luggage though !
Might do Phillip Island GP this year. And with Casey being Numero Uno, the crowd should be louder than ever

I'll be riding out with 7 other guys from Colorado Springs - only one bird. I was just at the dealer show and found out there is a revised track layout. 404 - Page Not Found :: Red Bull Indianapolis GP There are going to be a ton of vendors and some factory ride and drives.

There is also a one mile flat track race that you can't miss! Check it out here: AMAFlatTrack.com: Official website of the AMA Flat Track Championship

My buddy owns a shop in Indy Cycle Outfitters Motorcycle Parts, Accessories and Riding Apparel if anyone needs anything while traveling. Great guys and a nice shop.

Have a great ride!

Yeah, since they are going c-clockwise it makes sense to put a kink at the end of the fron t of the fron stretch so in case they run off they dont hit the wall. thastone narrow track!. I saw that and will be there at the FLatTrack Races too! Thats some sick stuff and that mile must be insane!!!

the Biek week races are cool but thats too sandy. Plus you can get right up and shake Chris Carr's hand. The fastest man on the bike in the world.

Just saw the thread so late to the game as usual. Riding up from FL with a BMW group. Plans right now are to be working the race as part of the marshalling/safety crew. Can meet in the evenings if something gets arranaged.

And yes don't forget the Mile. Watch Chirs smoke them all!!

We're staying at Indy Lakes just South of the track and think we should have a Friday night meet for sure. We're going to see the indy mile the night before. We'll be there Thursday and will meet all comers for a bite and a brew.

Indy knows how to throw down for these things so it should a slam dunk for the ridas.

I'm Mark @ 918-629-6004 ping me and we'll set it up.

I'm afraid Casey's not numero uno any longer, the king is back, long live the king.

Good to know where some of you are staying (Indy Lakes). I plan to camp in the "C" lot, which is diagonally out from turn 4 of the oval. Last year I met a bunch of guys that came for the F1 race. It's an annual tradition for them and they really know how to do it up with a trailer full of goodies -- steaks, beers, nachos, big music set-up. Anyway, since F1 did not come to Indy this year, maybe they will use MotoGP as an excuse for their trip. There will be a group of us; not sure how many and I believe we will have a pop up trailer for the weekend as well. Hope to meet as many birdies as possible.

I think once we get on the road it'll get better but I have a scary feeling I normally dont get. Maybe itt's because I'm taking the wife.
