Just in case any of you will be in the area, I'll be riding with some friends down to Arkansas later this month. We'll be staying in Dogpatch at "The Hub" on Friday 10/19 and will spend the day Saturday taking the long route to stay the night in Mountain Home, then home to St. Louis on Sunday. Feel free to bump into us. I have a black '97 XX with Givi luggage and license plate "CBRXX". I'll be with an ST1100, Concours, FJ1200, CBR954 and a Triumph 675.

man what a great ride, any one who has not ridden northwestern Arkansas is severely missing out. I go every fall and just like it more and more. We ended up with 7 riders, and absolutely gorgeous weather! We covered about 1,100 miles in the 3 days. This was my first longish trip with the Givi gear and it performed great, although I now realize that I really do need a new rear shock , hoping to find a way to do that over the winter along with some fork springs.

yeah, a last minute addition to the group. He's one of Dale's Iron Butt friends. His '04 has 130K miles on it.
