Group, would anyone be interested in a get together at say Deal's Gap or the Cherohala Skyway,? Google Maps. Or any other areas that you might have in mind.

Maybe we could pick a time in July to meet up there or something?

Anyone interested just reply, maybe we can get up enough people to make it interesting.

FYI

Last weekend was the SEXXT, South East XX Trip, held in Johnson City each year. It is always the weekend before or after the Honda Hoot for those that can make both events. I have attended a couple years and it is a great time.

I have to have at least a 3 month lead time to schedule vacation to be able to make most any get together.

I am planning on attending the NEXXT, NorthEast XX Tour, in Towanda, PA. in September again this year that is organized by Joe, Rockmeupto125 who lives in the area.

Always fun to have well organized events and ride-outs to be a part of but it does require a good bit of planning to be successful. Generally the first year will bring a small turnout but then subsequent years if held at the same general time frame will bring more and more riders who are able to plan the time.

There are a bunch of great roads to ride in that area around the Cherahola as long as you stay away from the Blueridge Parkway. To many 25 mph sightseer's holding you up on the Parkway in my opinion. There are plenty of other twisties in western North Carolina that would take days to ride them all.

A beautiful area to ride for sure.

That's my fault John, a lot of times I don't clearly write what my minde is thinking. I was more or less refering more of just a get together with friends type deal. Thanks for the heads-up on those other rides, I might check into those. (you big stud)

Around the Dragon area right? Let me try to work something out at work but I can probably make that. I should let you know something firm in a day or so.
