This is not much of a ride report... but just wanted to say it was a pleasure to meet another XX rider thru this website, in person. This weekend I had the chance to ride with fellow website member Dragonslayer. We had a perfect weather day Friday and we rode about 200 miles from Eureka, MO down to Bixby, MO and back again. Here's just a little cell phone picture for the proof  Dragonslayer is on the left, me on the right.There's two more guys on this site that live pretty close but weren't able to make it this time, but we'll keep on trying to get us all together. -Taetor Last edited by Taetor : 04-23-2007 at 12:23 AM. | ||

So great to get together with other XX's. I met my first .org member at Deals Gap last year, and saw two other RED XX at Suches. Sounds like a great ride. I hope more of us see each other this year. |

I really wish I could have joined the fun but some of us have to WORK on Fridays !  But thanks for the invite.I did the Bixby ride a month or so ago and found both rt P and DD to be very slick, covered in dust from all of the off-road crowd. I hope things were better for you guys. Nevertheless, it is a good ride. Catch you next time. |

P had a fair amount of grooving that was annoying but DD was pretty much perfect! ...I"ve been working four 10 hour days per week for 10 years now, I LOVE having those Fridays off. Dragonslayer works a lot of night shifts, he was riding on 3 hours of sleep to be able to join us! |

yeah I left 'em on there to see how they did in the twisties... I still have a little wobble around 45mph, but other than that they felt fine. I had them up to about 85-90 on some pretty nice corners and they were no bother. The other two guys gave me some crap bout how big they look from the rear though- since I was leading for most of the ride the XX-cargo ship  |
