Hi Spyder,
Thanks for the invite, My girlfriend and I plan to come up to Scotland this summer (If it arrives). Kerry rides a CBR 600F. I have travelled all over Scotland mainly in a car as I used to be the Sales Director for a company in England and I had to support our Distributors in Scotland, I regulary used to travel to Aberdeen, Perth, Dundee, Glasgow, Edinburgh and even as far as Thurso. Its a beautiful part of the country. On our recent trip we covered 2000 miles over 8 days. First of all we left Olney in Bucks and travelled to Dover and stayed overnight as we had the 8am crossing on the Sat morning, the M25 was a carpark as it was the Friday of the Bank Holiday Weekend. Once in Calais we travelled to Reims but we stayed off the Peage (Toll Roads) and travelled accross country to see more and arrived in Reims, there are lots of war Memorials and Historic places in and around Reims famous for the Champange too. The Catherderal in Reims is a MUST See it is beautiful and steeped in history. We then travelled to Freiburg (Freiburg is a great city to visit) in Southern Germany on the edge of the Black Forest and used this as our base for the next 5 nights and each day we travelled out onto the unbeliveable twisty forest roads as we climbed up and down the mountains, 180 deg hairpin bends it was amazing. I will email you our route once I have looked at the map and remember how to spell the place names. We travelled back to Reims and stayed in the city centre where there was a great selection of cafe's and bars and we discovered the cathederal. Then back to Calais and back home to England on the Saturday Evening Ferry 1 week later.
