Ironbutt...I had a girlfriend once who called me that

but it was quite a rallye:
first day ~450
second ~600
third ~650
fourth ~1150
I LOVE riding. and the whole trip, it was just that: riding, riding, riding. I never wanna get off the bike

Re: Alpine Berzerk
Sorry, didn't mean to bring back flashbacks of a girl who called you that
But to put in a more positive perspective, http://www.ironbutt.com is an American association which (ignoring street regulations) awards badges to it's members for the "longest-motorcycle-drive" (got to know them in Texas where everyone seems to be born with one). You need to keep gas receipts, and some proof of start/end.
There's also a German Iron Butt, http://ibagermany.de which even organizes trips, but never joined one (not really my kind of crowd). They do have detailed regulations and will probably be the only ones awarding those here in Central Europe.
Here's some of their "standard" badges
| SaddleSore & Bunburner | 1000 miles in under 24 hours / 1500 miles in under 36 hours! |
| SaddleSore 1600K, 2000K, 2500K | Kilometer based rides - 1600K in 24 hours, 2000K in 24 hours, 2500K in 36 hours, 2500K (GOLD) in 24 Hours |
| SS2000 | 2,000 documented miles in under 48 hours! |
| SS 3000 / BB 3000 | 3,000 miles in three days |
| SaddleSore 5000 | 5,000 miles in 5 days |
| BunBurner GOLD | 1500 documented miles in under 24 hours! Xtreme! |
| BBG3000 | Two back-to-back BunBurner GOLD rides; 3000 miles in 48 hours! Xtreme! |
| 10-10ths | Ten consectutive Saddlesore rides; 10,000 miles in 10 days! Xtreme! |
| 100k Club | 100,000 documented miles in one year. 'Nuff said. Xtreme! |
Hang On, Not Done Accelerating.....

Nothing particular "wrong" with the trumpet, but it was the heaviest and least powerful bike of the bunch. and it´s the "old" 955i engine, with 105hp, later ones (2002on) had 120hp. that said, i just recall my matey on his street triple r, going hell for leather @sardegna...but the bike is a mere 60 kilos lighter than mine.
ergonomys rock on the T, also the electrical engine like flat torque curve...awesome. but i need (at least i think i need) a change- had it 4 years and ~33.000km´s so far (actually a bit more tham 63.800km on the clock)....time to get my ´bird flying finally!!!!!
