Thanks but no thanks. Last I checked a bike doesn't stop moving in the rain. Theres no special sensor on it to shut it down for rain. Yea its nippy, so what, I brought my heated winter gloves and a ton of clothes.Your 3-5 thousand miles away in that lil country where playing with mooseballs and drinking strong beer is the past time. Well ok the last one isn't a bad thing. It was an awesome day for riding and although we got lost as hell riding for 16 hours without a map made a bit north of manchester. GOing to shower, change, and hit up a pub back here in London. Thanks a lot for your support canadian bird, I appreciated it...

Looking at all the news reports and having family in London, I think you should forget about riding in UK or Europe for at least a couple of months.
It all looks too cold and wet

Sounds good, Bob, See as much as you can while your there,
CB, no one checks the weather in Pommie land, Its gonna be wet and cold, How wet and cold is debatable, But it will be, wet and cold.
Plus its more interesting riding long distances with some one else.
    Cheers,
    Brian.

    Re: Checking in from London

God I love driving here. America should learn to do this. People stay out of the passing lane and move right over for you. Chilling cruising at 110mph in the pouring rain with a pack of cars slowing for every speed camera then bam right back to 100-120 mph. THeres minivans with kids in em passing me at night as I'm cruising at 100-110mph. Everyone is so precise, and actaully pays attention to the road. They move over for you when your half a mile behind em. Now if only there were no speed cameras...
