    Coolant leak

I flushed my coolant about a month ago. I drained it all, and drained the coolant in the engine also.

I took my bike out for a 300 mile ride this past weekend and when I got home i see a little bit of coolant under my bike. the coolant was not hot, so I checked and saw some drops coming out of the over fill hose coming from the coolant reservoir. The same thing happened last night, I took the bike out in this awesome weather we've been having. I'm just curious, wanna make sure it's no big deal.

I am thinking, since done the coolant flush the coolant hasn't gotten so hot and expanded before, then overfilling the reservoir making it come out of that over fill hose? also, the bike was making a little gurgling noise when I parked it...

Yeah, that's probably it. As for the gurgling sound, that sounds like air trying to escape the cooling system. When you did your flush, upon completing the refill of the radiator, did you remember to leave the radiator cap off, start the bike, and snap the throttle a few times? This purges the system of air.

While coolant expands a little, trapped air expands a lot when heated. I hope the trick above works for you. I have not changed mine yet but need to.

Trapped air sounds very likely to have happened.

Also Make sure the coolant level is NOT above the Max line on the bottle
