Hi Guys and Girls. Does anyone know of any eqaution to convert rear wheel HP into flywheel HP. Just had my Bird Re-Jetted and dyno'd. Chart shows 130.8hp at 145mph in 4th gear. The mechanic said it was a good read out. Very smooth power curve. She does go well for a 10 year old bike.

I think the figure is about 15% loss from the flywheel to the wheel for motorcycles in general. Not sure if this is accurate for the Blackbird though.

I wouldn't worry about crank horsepower. Be more concerned on the RWHP and torque but to best guess is to add 20-25 to your RWHP. It will give you a ball park figure for stock bikes.
