Does anyone know if there are any differences between the 99-01 throttle bodies, and 02+ throttle bodies?

I have been offered a good deal on a 99 set, but my motor is a 02, just want to make sure everything will work together.

THanks is advance.

I would be interested in this question as well. I just put a 99 head on my 01 and its not running right. Full throttle is like idle used to be before the motor blew.

there is a slight difference in the castings between some of the 99 heads and some of the later injected bikes. some of the 99's used the previous carb head which included a small hole on in the intake port for the vaccum lines to the carbs. of course these holes were all blocked off with screws at the factory, but i would check your head and make sure that you dont have some sort of vaccum leak in any of the intake runner.

and fester what you thinking on the throttle bodies?
