Shaft to shaft is have you at least inspected for valve adjust being it is strange/new to you and who/when/where are the service documents being how long it sat with clogged injector holes or a jet hardly feeding a cylinder that hesitates to the point it is a long shot the sync is or is not it is clear that valve adjust and sync is eliminate your mechanical vibrations. SYNC Done????? WOT say ye? One elimination at a time so you can know next time is stop chasing your tail is what is the compression of each cylinder, (after checking the valve lash).

But now I have what will hopefully be my last request for "problem" information for a while. I hope after this it is all good!

I'm having an issue with vibration, a metallic vibration for sure. It happens mostly in second and third gear, clutch is engaged, climbing in RPM's, from 3000 to 5000ish, and it's pretty loud. First gear it kicks in around 4500rpm. When I have the clutch disengaged(pulled in), and I rev the bike up to 4500 to 5000rpm, the metallic vibration does not happen. But while riding, it is apparent something is vibrating fairly loudly. I do not believe it is a body panel or loose piece metal external to the engine. I am slightly confused. It (sounds) like it mostly comes from the upper left hand side of the motor.

It really is a louder "vibration", not a clicking, not the CCT, but a literal vibration. It doesn't seem to increase with the RPM's in magnitude (faster), it just seems to hit at a certain rpm, and leave at another. At the higher RPM's, 5k and above, it goes away.

I replaced the CCT as I stated, and my CCT problems at idle (slapping sound) and the sound I was getting on the right hand side of the bike went away.

This is the last remaining problem I seem to be experiencing at the moment. I do not believe it is anything serious as the bike doesn't seem to have any adverse effects from it. The clutch works flawlessly, the bike pulls hard through any gear, I don't get any problems in any way other than this vibration.

Any help or suggestions, possibly causes would be appreciated.

    Thank you,
    Mario
Sorry to dig up an old thread. My BB has a loud buzzing sound from the left side of the bike aswell thats always there up to 4000rpm under load & under engine brakes. After 4000rpm or so it goes away right to red line. Blooding annoying it's louder than the screaming demon pipes. No vibration is felt through the bike at all & i can't find any loose bolts but havn't checked them all yet. Bike only has 5800km. Has anyone found the cause of this or has a similar problem.
    Cheers.

OLD THREAD, he hasn't posted for 4 1/2 years. Maybe cct or check your sprockets and chain. However, your Bird isn't even broken in at that milage so I don't think she should be buzzing just roaring as you pass 7,000 rpm.

Cheers CB the noise is not a whine but a crazy buzzing from the left side does not affect performance in anyway. It's got me buggered why it goes away after 4000rpm. Maybe i should pull all the fairings off & take her for a ride & see if she still buzzes.

Mine does the same under decell, engine breaking. Not found fault yet, hoping it might be my blocked air filter.

I have, but need to do more thoroughly. Waiting for a dry day to strip off all the plastic.
