can anyone tell me if downpipes off a injection model will fit on my carbed bike

Yes, they should fit.
Just stay away from the injection-versions with a catalyst.

The headers will fit. I had '99 headers fitted to my '98. Don't use cat fitted cans though. 'ing hot bastards they are! I took 'em off and put non cat cans that I had lying around on instead, so the kids are much less likely to end up needing a skin graft from bumping them when I get home.
