low 140's.Not that there's anything wrong with Yosh,I'm posting that as a realistic #,you may see 145 or something but I wouldn't expect any more.
Every dyno pipe comparison I've seen over the years Yosh is middle of the pack, never on top.
Hindle,Muzzy,Akro always at or near top.

well, busa's are more raw power orriented....everything from gearing to wind variations will make your statment true or false.
the bikes are so closely matched heck a butterfly farting in africa could affect a real life h2h matchup.
its also alot to do with the rider.......lotsa busa boys are total squids and have no idea how to handle their bikes..

You are 20hp down and the bike is 20lbs heavier comparing stock bikes. You are outriding the Busa loser plain and simple, unless you have a 100 lb weight advantage on the other rider.
Congrats by the way.
Put a pipe on a Busa and compare it to yours and you are still giving up 20hp.
Busa no pipe and yours,12hp or so.Still a big disadvantage.
I haven't dyno'd mine yet but I know it has Busa like hp(156)because I'm running the same mph at the strip now and only the ones with more than a pipe can catch me.

..although the busa 2006 model is hevier than xx (the 2008 model is even heavier)..has more torquey engine and agressive cam lift specs even in standard setup...i 've expierenced a 98 xx model just with k&n filter and jet kit and akrapovic full 4 into 1 exhaust measured on the dyno about 155 hp and top road speed at 306 km/h garmin gps measured...

The 2008 is heavier than the previous years, but they all weighed the same on this continent.
And that is one messed up dyno or someone is lying about what's done to it.

...who knows...i bet that if we check on another dyno it would be different for sure...measurements vary even from place to place ,even from the weather...or because of different calibration...i personally rely more on feel and on the gps.... |

yeah if the dyno tech doesnt have the correct maps the results are shyt.
at a local dyno shootout we had a STOCK gsxr1k hit 168hp around 12k rpms....tell me you think that was accurate?
realistic mapping AND !!!!!BREATHER SETUP!!!! will show very different numbers on a 99 fi model since the rams actually work.... honda claims their spec numbers from what i hear air fed....the realistic way it would be riding... |

the busa is a faster bike.
I push 153hp with K&N,PC, and Micron Zeta Race system.
I added race fuel, and it dropped 10 HP. I got the best hp on the lowest grade gas like ti asked for in the manual.

well, like i said.....with all the hyper sport bikes it comes down to one thing.
the rider with the biggest balls OR the lowest IQ will win.
you line up a busa, a bird, and a zx14.....
its comming down to the rider.
and thats just being honest about it.

Although speeding fines are badges of honour, aren't they ?
So we don't cower in fear .... but take on the chin like a man (we'll cry alone in the dark later)

..well this is fear..what i like to the xx design is the front part ..the huge face with the two mirrors wide open..gives a brutal personality to the bike..i was coming home from an all day trip..steady at the left lane on highway with about 200 km/h..night...before reaching the cars in front of me they pulled away half a mile before i reach them...and without signal them...thats fear on the left lane.. |
